The hotel is ideally situated just 500 meters from the centre of Lærdal township, neighbouring Lærdalsøyri with its distinctive architecture and old buildings. A short drive to Borgund Stave Church, the historic "Kongevegen" (“King’s Highway”) – which passes through countryside that is every walker’s dream, and the cotter’s property "Galdane"- a small restored farm located on the large ledge that juts out over the Lærdal river.
